Launched in January 2020, just before the pandemic caused major worldwide business disruption, Subsea Corrosion Ltd has now been successfully trading for more than five years. Since then, we’ve built a strong and reliable reputation in both the inshore and offshore Cathodic Protection (CP) industry, delivering practical solutions and trusted expertise across a wide range of projects and customers.
The last five years have been extremely busy and varied, with projects spanning FPSOs, offshore platforms, pipelines, windfarms, harbours, and specialised inshore marine infrastructure – and all signs suggest this demand will continue well into the future. We have conducted CP retrofit design tasks, hardware installation, system monitoring, troubleshooting and provided general guidance and expertise to our valued customers across both ICCP and Sacrificial systems.
During 2024, all Subsea Corrosion Ltd staff became Institute of Corrosion certified Level 3 Cathodic Protection Senior Technicians in the Marine Metallic Structures application sector in compliance with BS EN ISO 15257:2017. This certification gives our valued customers confidence and peace of mind, knowing we can provide an impartial, specialised and professional cathodic protection service backed up with years of experience. Additionally, Subsea Corrosion Ltd engineers are actively working towards accreditation to Level 4 Cathodic Protection Specialist status which will complement our long-held NACE/AMPP Cathodic Protection Technologist certification and Chartered Engineer status.
At Subsea Corrosion Ltd., our mission remains the same: to provide specialist, tailor-made corrosion protection services that ensure long-term performance, safety, and reliability.
Our Core Services Include:
- Site surveys, investigative works, and fitness-for-purpose audits – identifying risks, system performance, and life-extension opportunities.
- Historical CP data reviews – analysing existing records to identify trends and inform effective maintenance strategies.
- Troubleshooting ICCP and sacrificial CP systems – diagnosing faults and implementing practical, cost-effective solutions.
- CP system design and optimisation – developing robust protection systems to meet long-term operational requirements.
